7 Top Music Stars Took APC Campaign To Another Level

Yes, it is the era of celebrities being endorsed by political parties and they in turn show their support by singing for the political party’s candidate in the coming elections. Just like Olamide who sang a song proclaiming the All Prgressives Congress’ presidential candidate, Rtd. Gen. Buhari and his running mate, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo as the change that Nigeria truly needs. The seven superstars have taken the bull by the horn to proclaim their love for the All Progressives Congress’ Lagos state gubernatorial candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode. In the 3minutes 42 seconds video you could see how they joyfully danced and sang to the song which can be mistaken to be another hit from one of them. But when listened to carefully, the chant of ‘ambo, o Eko sese bere nio, ambo‘ (we are coming, Lagos is just starting) will make the listener to know it is actually a political campaign song. The fusion of both Yoruba and Igbo language all sum up the kind of target audience the song is meant for.
